Natural UK conduct DBS checks (previously CRB or Criminal Records Bureau checks) on all service and sales staff, throughout our business. These national identity checks are designed for staff who may work or come into contact with children or vulnerable adults and, as we deal with many schools and care homes throughout the region, we decided that rigorous background checks on any customer-facing member of staff was a very positive move forward.
The DBS check is a vetting process which searches the applicant’s name and personal details against criminal records and other sources, including the Police National Computer (PNC). The checks are constantly reviewed and renewed on a regular basis – and help demonstate our determination to provide the best possible service we can at Natural UK.
